Try out mobile.de – with no obligation and at no cost. Use all the mobile.de services for two months and then choose whether you would like to become a customer. Find out for yourself.


As a mobile.de dealer, you will benefit from the following:

  • the mobile.de Professional Domain: search and advertise using customised forms; effective Sellers’ Tools, net prices and simple data backups
  • Numerous other free features: the mobile.de Vehicle Client, the success monitor, ad statistics, the print centre, interface, and much more
  • Your own homepage with personalised Internet address: www.mobile.de/YourName

Try out mobile.de for yourself: After the two-month trial period, you can decide whether you wish to become a mobile.de customer – there is no automatic extension.
A participation fee, easily calculated based on the price scales shown below, only becomes due from the third month.

Cost

mobile.international GmbH will invoice you each month for the services already provided. Your costs are based on the average number of ads per day that you have placed on mobile.de in the past month.

We calculate this monthly average by recording the number of your ads each day. On the first working day of the following month, the total number of ads recorded daily will be calculated and divided by the number of days in the relevant calendar month.

If necessary, the result is rounded down and charged based on the price scales shown below. Each scale package includes a certain number of free new ad placements. By ‘new ad placements’, we mean new or updated ads which are 0 days old. The number of free new ad placements you receive is the same as the maximum number of ads in your price scale.

Price scales

As an extension of the Standard Account, mobile.de offers the Pro Account containing additional features that optimize the display of your listings and your sales success. You also get exclusive access to the mobile.de Market Monitor - your personal analysis tool for Germany's biggest vehicle marketplace online.

The costs of the Pro Account depend on your price scale:

** New ad placements are new or updated ads which are 0 days old. For each price scale you get a specific quota of free new ads – based on the maximum number of ads in your current price package. Each additional new ad placement is priced at EUR 0.99.

mobile.de Sellers’ Tools

mobile.de’s Sellers’ Tools enable you to improve your online offering and improve your sales. However, some of these highly effective tools only become available after the trial period.
All prices are subject to VAT.

 

  • Lead Ad (EUR 5.00 per vehicle/day)

    If your vehicle meets the potential buyer’s search criteria, the Lead Ad puts it at the top of the search results with an extra-large picture, your contact details and a link to your mobile.de dealer homepage. If more than one Lead Ad meets the criteria, the ad shown is chosen at random from all those ordered.

    Price security: the total monthly cost for Lead Ads may not exceed a specified sum. You pay a maximum of 500% of the net cost of your price scale – no matter how many Lead Ads you place.

  • Page-1-Ad (EUR 1.20 per vehicle/day)

    With the Page-1-Ad, your ad will be listed on the first page of search results when your vehicle matches a potential buyer's search criteria (flagged as a ‘sponsored ad’). If there are more than three Page-1-Ads that fit the search, the ads presented are selected at random from all the ads ordered.

    Price security: the total monthly cost for Page-1-Ads may not exceed a specified sum. You pay a maximum of 200% of the net cost of your price scale – no matter how many Page-1-Ads you place.

  • Red Pen Price (EUR 0.90 per vehicle/day)

    The Red Pen Price quickly lets customers know when a price has been reduced. The old price is crossed out next to the new lower price. The Red Pen price appears in the search results list and in your ad's Detail View.

    Price security: the total monthly cost for ads with the Red Pen Price ads may not exceed a specified sum. You pay a maximum of 90% of the net cost of your price scale - no matter how many ads with Red Pen Price were shown. 


    Please note the legal information


    A price is shown as a Red Pen Price when you have advertised a vehicle at a certain price for at least 14 days at mobile.de and subsequently reduced the price (in one or more steps) by more than 2% but not more than 50%. The red pen price appears on the search results pages and on the details page of your ad. A crossed-out price appears next to the current price in order to emphasise the price reduction.
    The Red Pen Price is automatically disabled

    • once you raise the price again;
    • if the Red Pen Price is reduced by more than 50% or
    • the Red Pen Price was active longer than 30 days.

    You can deactivate the red pen price by your own, by deleting the listing and place it again. For a new reactivation of the red pen price it is necessary, that the vehicle is online on mobile.de again for 14 days for one and the same price, before you can reduce the price again in one or more steps by more than 2%, but no more than 50%.

    Please note general guidelines for advertising with discounts:

    The advertising of price discounts is generally permitted. In individual cases, discounts may be considered illegal under the law due to excessive baiting and deceptive advertising. For a special offer, it is illegal:

    • if the price is systematically increased and then decreased again to simulate a price cut;
    • if the (supposedly) higher price was requested only for a inappropriately short time;
    • if the (supposedly) higher price was never seriously serious offer, and only serves to make the current lower price appear more attractive (so-called "fantasy pricing");
    • if the discount is offered only for an unreasonably long or an unreasonably short time.

    The violation of these rules can lead to the levying of fines or to competitors or consumer protection organizations pursuing legal action. The information above is not conclusive and cannot replace legal advice. We recommend consultation with a lawyer or other legal advice about legal issues concerning price discounts.

  • Eyecatcher Ad (EUR 0.20 per vehicle/day)

    With the Eyecatcher, the search results show your ads enlarged and with colour highlighting and a clearer structure that helps them to stand out.

    Eyecatcher ads are also randomly selected to appear on the mobile.de homepage under 'Recently advertised vehicles'. Prerequisites: at least two pictures, no new vehicles, no damaged vehicles). Moreover, the seven least expensive mobile.de ads that meet the search criteria in each case are displayed on eBay, along with the eBay Motors ads. However, these ads only appear on eBay Motors after 1-2 days.

    Price security: the total monthly cost for Eyecatcher ads may not exceed a specified sum. You pay a maximum of 60% of the net cost of your price scale – no matter how many Eyecatcher ads you place.

  • Financing Offer (EUR 0.10 per vehicle/day)

    You can add Finance Offers to your ads (excluded: commercial vehicles). When you order a Finance Offer, your ad appears in detail on the Detailed Item Page and is flagged on the search results pages.

    Price security: the total monthly cost for the Finance Offer may not exceed a specified sum. You pay a maximum of 60% of the net cost of your price scale – no matter how many Finance Offers you order.

  • Mark as 'New' (free contingent, according to your price scale; EUR 0.99 per usage thereafter)

    Newly listed vehicles are specially flagged in the list of search results. You can take advantage of this by marking your ads as 'New'. This will help you draw more attention to your vehicles. Your ads also stay in the parking lists.

    Cost: you have an allotment of free settings that corresponds to the maximum number of ads in your scale package (see table). Each additional ad marked as 'New' costs EUR 0.99.

  • SMS service (free)

    With the SMS service, any emailed customer enquiries are sent straight to your mobile by SMS at no additional cost to you.

  • Direct Link (EUR 150.00 per annum)

    The Direct Link takes customers to an external homepage or to your mobile.de dealer homepage. Your offering is linked from both your ad’s Detailed Item View and from the Dealer Search.

  • Inventory Link (free)

     

    You can add the Inventory Link to your own homepage at no charge so that your mobile.de inventory also appears on your own site.

     

  • Banner Ads (see table)


    You can use a variety of customised, regionalised banners to advertise on mobile.de. Get in touch with our mobile.de team – they will be happy to advise you on creating your own custom banners.
    To ensure maximum effectiveness, your banner will only appear if the potential buyer’s search criteria match the criteria you have defined. You may select from these criteria: postcode area, make, model, price, year of manufacture, mileage, power, new vehicle, used, fuel type.

    Please note: the price is calculated based on the number of banners shown, not on visitor clicks on your banner. When the banner has expired, you will be provided with detailed statistics about its success: the number of effectively shown banners, the number of clicks and the click rate (in per cent).

This one-off fee becomes due if mobile.de have terminated the contract without notice, or definitively blocked the account, due to a contravention of the GTC, due to a default in payment or due to any other important reason.


Invoicing, Due date of monthly payment

Billing is by emailed invoice. The total shown in the invoice is immediately due for payment and mobile.de will collect it by direct debit.

Termination notice

The period of notice for cancelling the contract is two weeks prior to the end of the month.


This price list is valid from January 1, 2011. All previous price lists become invalid.
All prices shown are subject to VAT at the statutory rate.
